Beautiful hotel located in a great area right by great walking paths around the lake and estate and Ate in the restaurant. A special thanks to the employees from the house keepers to the manager. Nice building and rooms with a tv. Nice decoration in the rooms, marvellous and lovely location.
Bad smell in the room.

Good-sized pool provides a refreshing morning swim without the chill. The grounds and entrance have a cute vibe that sets a decent tone for arrival.
Roadside location brings a fair bit of noise-especially if you're near the front. Rooms have seen better days. Found some mold on window sills and wine stains on carpets which weren't quite the luxurious vibe I expected. Watching the unattractive car park from the window didn't exactly scream relaxation, and there were times when the restaurant was closed due to 'low occupancy,' which makes for a lackluster dinner option. Breakfast had its hiccups too. A broken orange juice dispenser and toasters not popping their bread. Felt slightly disorganized throughout.

Everything is excellent here, had a really great stay of five nights. The staff is obliging, makes sure that the place is fairly clean. The hotel offers variety of food that was brilliant. Unbeatable location really close to the restaurant, Clumber Park and the forest, it's central.

The rooms are spacious. The location is very pretty and ideal to explore nearby attractions.
I was advised I could have an early check in however the room was not ready so I had to wait around. The receptionists seemed rather put out by this request. The bar was expensive for both food and drinks.

The staff were very accommodating , the room nice but the position for us regarding our son's school, perfect
We should have had 2 sets of towels, a heated towel rail would very useful as well. More treatments kept free in case of last minute bookings like ours. I was very disappointed not to be able to book anything. There was only one member of staff in the spa and he was busy with someone in the gym so I had to go and look for him after 15minutes of waiting...

Staff were efficient and helpful as there was a problem with the room and this was sorted within 10 min. It makes a change from a Premier/Holiday Inn and the price was compettetive

While the swimming pool was clean, access was limited to only certain hours, which can be frustrating when you want to unwind after a long day. The dining experience needed improvement-menu options were quite limited, and the quality of meals did not meet expectations given the pricing. Some areas of the hotel were showing signs of age, including outdated decor and carpets that could use a deep clean. Noise from adjacent rooms made it challenging to enjoy a restful night as doors echoed through the corridor during peak hours.

Overall it was a nice size and brand-new with a tv. The bar had a good choice of savoury meals for breakfast.

Really friendly and helpful staff
We were there at the breakfast rush time so it took a while and we were in a hurry (but there was a very pleasant atmosphere).
